Upon unveiling the news that a fourth series to the highly successful series The Tribe is to be produced, on the 29th April and the 3rd of May 2001, Raymond took some time out of his hectic schedule to answer the questions of The Tribe fans... heres what he said... Raymond has given away a few hints as to what to expect in series 4 of The Tribe, as well as information the characters such as the fact that Patsy and Dannii are not dead... DruSpikeVamp Will Beth Allen be around next series? Yes Beth Allen will be around in Series IV. Did you want to kill Danni or did you do it because you realised that everyone hated her and wanted Amber back? Or was the rumour about her and Dwanye having a relationship true and that's why she had to leave????? No Danni did a good job. But it is just the way the series evolved. Will you please make at least seven series' of the Tribe please? I'll try to make at least 7 series of The Tribe. Rufus Are there any plans on bringing back Zandra (Amy)? Zandra - no unfortunately, as Amy was a great actor and her character was very interesting. What is Abe Messiah exactly? Definition of a messiah is: any expected savior or liberator. Does this song pretain to Brady or a later character named Abe? As an exclusive I can reveal that the song does relate to a later character. Kacci What is u'r favourite tribe monent? The first scene in the first series, which was a great moment, to see the series actually go into production. Do you have any say in the scripts or the tribe book? Yes. The Tribe books are adapted from our storylines and scripts. Hoe you enjoyed it. JH Will there be a series 5 after it or is it to early to think about that yet? When The Tribe was conceived we always envisaged it as a long running series. Although we are focussing on Series 4 right now I am always thinking ahead to Series 5 and on - and as long as the fans want The Tribe then we are happy to keep producing it. tribefan5000 Will Beth Allen and Dwayne Cameron be in Series 4? Please PLEASE tell me! We are currently developing all storylines. We will annouce exclusive news to Tribeworld as soon as everything has been confirmed. But most of the regular characters will be back. BlackMagic Who's your favourite character in the series? I love all the characters. Do you ever regret killing of Zoot so early on? In some ways yes I do regret it. Any little titbits for series 4? I'll try and reveal exclusives on Tribeworld soon. Is Danni dead or not? I was never quite sure. No shes not dead. She might come back at some point. Will there be any more pre-tribe flashbacks in series 4? Yes there will be more pre tribe flashbacks in Series IV. *STAR* Hi I would really, really, really, really, really like to know if Nick Miller Will be in series 4? Pride is a popular character and we are all very pleased that the fans enjoyed the introduction of this new role. We all enjoyed working with Nick. And if he is available (as an exclusive - I think he is) then Pride will most certainly be back in Series IV which promises to have lots of surprises. So keep watching and Keep the Dream Alive. teenbabe17 What happened to the characters patsy, Danni and Ryan and will they return for series 4 especially Patsy? All the characters who disappeared might return if the storylines work that way. We try and keep the series as fresh as possible and if we introduce new characters in means that we have to make room for them otherwise we would have a cast of hundreds with no focus. So pelase keep watching. tribefan5000 Do you ever ready any of the stories in the P&C Section cos some of them are really really good! (i'm not referring to mine by the way - thats pants!) Yes, I do try and visit all aspects of our Tribeworld site and to check what fans are thinking andf feeling. Perhaps I might mention to our writers to check out that section, as it is important to try and reflect and give the fans what they want in the series. Another Jack Fan what do you think makes the tribe charcters so admirable and someone that viewers look up to? I would hope that all Tribies can relate to the characters because we try and make their storyline and situations as real as possible - but also positive and aspirational. So maybe this is why you might look up to them. Also, as young people I would hope that you like any other generation of young people will look to the future to make a better world and not make the same mistakes that some adults have. Kacci what gave you the idea for the tribe? I think that young people have always rebelled against adults. I know I certainly did. And I hope that each successive generation is better than the last. So I thought it would be an interesting notion to have as a vehicle a world with no adults so that young people strive and survive with no one to guide, rule or protect them. What is your favourite tribe character? I don't have a favourite character, I love them all. How many sereis will be made? As explained we will keep making the series as long as the fans keep watching. Why was patsy killed off? Patsy actually wasn't killed off. She went to the mines. And she might be back. So keep watching and Keep the Dream Alive. Gypsy_Dreamer I love the name! Because I am a GypsyDreamer too! I really really like to know if there is any chance of you (or cloud 9) bringing out videos of the tribe from the very start of it. Yes, I guess we could do that. If there is enough demand. Thanks for your interest. Seagull 1582 I was wondering if you knew when tribe four might start production, i.e. when you start shooting new scenes. Following on from that, any idea when it might be hitting our screens? We start shooting Tribe 4 on August 16 and are currently in pre-production. If you are in the UK Seagull - you will see Tribe 4 in January 2002. Raven's Whisperer What's planned for series 4? We've lots of very exciting elements which we will be introducing and I would hate to spoil things for you and the other fans by going into too much detail. But as a hint...... we will be introducing a few more new characters. One may or may not be cast from England and in fact there is a person due to arrive in a couple of weeks for a screen test. In addition we will be addressing some very provocative story themes and all in all trying to push the boundaries and make Series IV the best. Would you ever consider making a Tribe film? Yes. And I am currently in discussions about this. If anything comes to fruition then we will advise on Tribeworld which is the official tribe site and we'll bring you along with other fans exclusive news as it happens. Do you ever read fanfics? Whenever I get time I try and visit the website and read all the material that I can as it is very important to me to know what the fans are thinking about the series. What they like. Or don't like. What interests them and the type of storylines that they would like to see. King Cupcake SERIES 1 / 2 / 3 .......and your fav was? Although I am very proud of each series - I personally think that Series III really does touch an interesting dimension of storylines with the introduction of the Guardian and the return of Amber for example. As with any other long running series the cast tend to hit their performance in a deeper way, the more familiar they become with their character and the entire production team become more proficient in their areas as well which means that in theory each series should be better than the previous ones. Red Was the "my father was involved in creating the virus" plotline for Danni, originally intended for the character of Amber? No it was not intended for Amber - but it could have been, so well spotted. As the creative process is organic and grows with the input from our entire writing team and story and script consultants we always debate all the storylines and characters in great detail. As the storylines unfold we need a character to act as a vehicle for those storylines and we might examine for example Amber or Lex or whoever carrying the exposition and it is fair to say that we might have discussed Ambers father.
