Also when there's something you can't have you do all you can to get it! And if you blag the guy that all the other gals get wet for before they do, it's bloody great! Deep down though the whole Bray and Jay thing is about power and control. Trudy wants power, she can only get it through her men. Amber needs a man to help her control her power, she needs an equal. Ebony on the other she likes to have control and power over her men... I think I answered the question? Personally though, I don't understand why they went for Bray, I understand why they all want Jay though!!! So be discreet. - Laura How come that since the last two Series(4,5)Trudy and Lex (who used to have interesting stories of their own) only get filler storylines or none at all while Amber and Ebony are over-used? - Brooke Lex has always had second place behind Bray and Jay, and Trudy had her greatest moments in Series 2. The show has always been about Ebony and Amber, even in series one you could feel the strong persona of their characters, Ebony wasn't in the whole of series one, yet you could always feel her presence in the series and when Amber was off in the woods you could still feel her being around... Amber and Ebony are overused because they are leaders, they also have a stronger screen presence. Also look at their style, Amber with her blonde Zulu knots and Ebony with her red outfits draw your attention, Ebony also catches the eye because out of all the characters she shows the most flesh/cleavage (why else do guys like Oshayr watch The Tribe?! - lol)... Their strong presence does make it appear as if they are over-used, but they aren't. Lex has had quiet a major role throughout The Tribe, in series 4 he had the whole Cyber-celebrity storyline which took up allot of room, and in series 5 he played a key role in The Tribe acting as the key informant between Liberty and the Mall Rats in the city... Trudy though did not appear much in series 4, after helping Amber give birth they journeyed to the Gaians. Series 4 Trudy was just a support for Amber but in series 5 she came back into form, she had some cool moments such as bitching at Mega ("You have not earned the right to rule our city! You couldn't even run a raffle!"), she also had the Jay storyline and later she ended up trying to help save both Jay's and Amber's life when Mega was going to fry their brains. Another thing to point out is that The Tribe, like allot of other shows do nowadays, has a female focus, it has greater female leads than male and also there's at least 16 key characters per series, it must get tricky writing for each character!
